APM throttle problems

i have an arducopter apm 2.7 fc that i've setup through mission planner my esc's callibrated ok but when i arm the motrors through the board i get about half throttle right off the bottom of the stick and no th responce through most of the stick travel. that's in stablize mode when i switch to rtl my motors go full throttle i have rebooted this board a half dozen times with no change. does anyone have any idea as to what the problem and possible fix for this problem? i have a short video showing what's going on GLENN WELCH

You forgot to include the link to your video, so it's hard to say, but did you also perform a RC (TX/RX) calibration as part of your setup so that the APM/arducopter software knows your end-points? You may also need to modify your TX endpoints if possible to meet the recommended values (detailed here: http://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-radio-control-calibration.html) where APM recommends 1100-1900 PWM values for min/max.
