If you want a good first race drone that is cheap but doesn't sacrifice performance then I would recommend UAVfutures $99 quad build. Yes, it is under $100, and no it is not easy to break. And because of its price if you crash it your wallet won't be empty.

Definetly this, but don't go with the lisam (i think it is) frame. Pick the martian II its WAY better.
