No just kidding. I'm from Minnesota, and used to work in Minneapolis a lot. I worked in a lot of bad neighborhoods around there for 15 years installing home security systems and never got shot once. I now live just across the border in Wisconsin.

You'll be fine, just say "Oh yeah..." And "You betcha!" A lot, and you'll fit in fine. "Minnesota nice" is common around these parts.
