Problems with my Electrohub Build

Hi, I recently got the electrohub kit and the electronics pack from Ready to fly quads. I was having problems with the initial take off so I connected everything up to the MultiWiiConf and added Angle mode to the gear switch on my transmitter. Since then when I arm the quad and move the throttle nothing happens until i get to about half stick then only two props spin (front right and rear left) I am hoping I am missing an easy step. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok a bit more information. I have used the MultiWiiConf to rest the quad (by pressing the reset button) it is now back to how it was when I built is all motors spin instantly when I move the throttle up just off its lowest position. If I use the MultiWiiConf to enable the gear switch to activate Angle mode it goes back to the same problem of only two motors spinning and only actually starting at half throttle.
