Wanted a LiPo balance charger-2-4s

I need a LiPo balance charger-2-4s capable with adjustable charge rate.

I am in Sandpoint ID.

You can find them on ebay by searching for "Accucel 6 adaptor" but I made my own by going to the thrift store with the battery connector in hand from the Accucel 6 and compared it to the box of misc chargers in the electronics box. I had to solder a connector from one to the other but it works great. Just make sure you match up the mah and Amps.

So if you're charging two 2200mah 3S batteries, do you set it for 3S 4400mah?

It depends:

- a parallel charge adapter would be 3S @ 4.4A for a 1C charge rate.

- a series charge adaptor would be 6S @ 2.2A for a 1C rate.

so which one is your adaper? if you don't know, wire up the adapter and start a charge set for 3S. If it complains about "over voltage" and stops, it's a series adapter -- change your setting to 6S and drop the voltage.
