Awesome news, Carl. The cooling issue really should be addressed ASAP! I flew my Jug on Saturday and I noticed a dramatic difference in the performance of the packs after opening up holes to let air out. I've seen folks put vents in their canopy ans it somewhat masks them. I've also seen people just cut a hole and put screen door material that has been spray painted. Lots of options but I think you will come up with something that will be a good compromise between functional and draw from the good look of the airplane.
I would agree with your note on the CG... for now. You may find that you will get to a point in practicing aerobatics that sometimes it will be just too difficult to do a maneuver without moving the CG BACK. I got schooled in hammerheads yesterday that apparently they should be done in one wing-length.
Looks like a fun ship. Hope to see her soon!
