Mini Speedster with skis and removable second wing...

It all started when I built the skis for the FT Mini Speedster... that was fun but I have a small backyard and I wanted it slower without compromising the original design. So, build another wind. Cut four slots in the bottom wing and add a little reinforcement and taa-daa the Mini Speedster Convertible

Biplane was born.

I also switched to a three bladed prop to enable the slower flight (could have gone to a larger diameter, low pitch two blade as well. To change from mono-wing to biplane, insert the uprights into the lower wing slots and slit in the dowels. Yes, it is slow with all that drag and super light wing loading so only in the calmest of winds. If it's a little breezy just pull the dowels and pop the wing off and you are back to the original mono-wing mini speedster!
