I find it a bit hard to find the tabs to navigate threw the site i feel you might want to look in to making some larger tabs to make it stand out more....

Some people will not try as hard to find a way threw the site and or just not visit it.
I know it sounds petty but it could be a big deal for getting new members and keeping them

What is the exact nature of the difficulty in site navigation?

I find that some of the headings at the top of the screen run together. See attached photos. Maybe its a resolution issue with this particular computer. See how the articles tabs are partially under the black bar and the "Welcome and Notifications" are running into each other
