Just finished my Bat Bone. Its looking great, just hope it flies. Haven't weighed it yet, the head and claws really don't weigh that much. I purchased the bat from wally world, it used to be a 3' hanging wall bat decoration for Halloween. The only modification to the bat head was to trim the neck some and also cut a hole in the mouth for my fpv board camera then black paint. The battery tray is made from (2mm) carbon fiber sheet and piano wire. Everything else is standard FT Bat Bone gear. The eyes on the bat flash red and uses it's own battery and on/off switch. I also need to redo the landing gears. They are about 1/2" too short, so the chin of the bat is hitting. I'm hoping to fly it soon and will post a video soon.
