Event Map for FliteFest 2014 - what about sailplanes?

Good afternoon.

I just saw the new information on flitefest.com and was wondering if there's a place for us DHL/Glider pilots? The last podcast mentioned towing so I was under the impression gliders would be allowed. Will gliders be allowed ? I'm flying from Texas and need to know. I would hate to bring my DHL and not be able to fly it (unneeded airline fees).

Gliders are certainly welcome. The main flight line is bigger then three football fields so there will be plenty of room to fly there. If that's doesn't seem sufficient during the event we can create more space from less popular flight lines. -Austin
