HELP! Guillows kit #302 Cessna 170

Hello forum flyers I mainly fly foam but, received a kit for Christmas and decided why not? Haven't built it yet because the plans don't show any control surfaces and I have no idea how to accomplish this on balsa wood flyers. So, that was the first question next can any one recommend electronics (i.e: servos, ESC, motor, receiver, etc.) and I own a spectrum DX6i controller in case that matters. I have built balsa wood elastic launcher gliders but nothing with actual RC controls.​

Thanks, for the info! Any idea how how to make hinges for the control surfaces?

Tape...pick your favorite, Blenderm, packing tape, strapping tape...whatever you like. Bevel the forward edge of you control surface to 45 degrees just like you were building a FT plane, keep the pointy edge on top, butt it against the wing or stab and just put a single piece of tape across the surfaces.

In some guillows kits it includes fabric so I guess you could use that
