Beginner tip from Captain Blocker(One flight logged): When flying your very first plane for the very first time, don't incorporate a safety switch on your transmitter that allows another switch to open the cargo hatch. Focus on avoiding trees.

Excuse the messy frame of my FT Guinea Pig, it is the first and only plane I have ever built. As a beginner with no workshop, and tools you may find in a third world dentist office, I am proud of what it became, and it still flies wonderfully (when its not in a tree).
