After 10 years I am returning to RC and a 97" Seagull Ag wagon and want to use 4s3000 paks in a twin pak to drive the wagon, if possible can someone recommend a motor and prop for the project? I am getting familiar with the FMS 67" PA-18 at this time to get back up to speed as a flyer.

Welcome! You'll find a lot of us came back after a long break. Wish I could help with your question but it's out of my wheelhouse. Someone will be able to help, though.

https://gator-rc.com/seagull-models-cessna-188-agwagon-97-inch-ws-giant-scale-30-to-35cc - Is this your model? To advise you, you must specify the following data: the weight of the empty case of the model, the weight of the battery. To determine the weight of the cargo in the bow of the model, you must load ballast into the bow of the model and weigh the ballast (the model must be in CG). Based on these parameters, we will be able to offer you the model of the engine, screw, regulator and recommended battery. According to your question, you can only guess at the coffee grounds...

Yes the model is the Seagull 97” Cessna ag wagon. I am trying figure out the needed motor and it is starting to look like some where between a 120 and a 160 at 12S. Iam not planning on 3D —-scale flight only. I have a collection of4S 3000 paks and would like to use them and will suspect a cut in flight time and will. Ed to stack 3 paks. Do they make a 3 pak 60 connector? I have helix in the past with twin6S- paks. I have. Done larger electrics in the past with twin 6S-5000 paks but need some advice to get back up to speed. Balancing planes is not a problem as Ihave Alan Ed 40-60% gas planes.

Do you want to turn a gasoline airplane into an electric one? 1. Disassemble the gasoline engine with the motor frame, the gas tank. 2. Weigh the empty model + receiver 3. Place the ballast in the bow so that the recommended CG is 4. Weigh the ballast. Based on these data, you can start offering a motor + regulator and it will become clear: your batteries will fit these conditions (engine power and consumption) and the maximum flight weight. I already have about 50 models and each has its own electronics: I just take the right battery and go into the field to fly.

This a new kit in the box, I fly on my farm most of the time so no gas for noise reasons, I have a Hangar 9 P-47 that was powered by a Eflite 110 250kw driven by a 12S lipo up to 50 watts that is high speed screamer with retracts but my field at the farm is too rough for it. Hoping to use the 110 outrunner and the 12S castle ESC with 4S3000x3 paks---any reason it will not work?

I have detuned my project and will be downsizing to a Seagull 78" Edge 540 and I have the power (110 Eflite 295Kw) , esc (Castle Phoenix HV 120 12S 50V) and battery's (several 4S3000 paks that will be twined) an easier package to haul to the field.
