maiden flight video of my FPV twin boom pusher (Based on VAS Wraith & Banshee)

I'm a big fan of Video Aerial Systems (VAS) airplanes, they are great FPV platforms! a few friends are flying their "Wraith" and "Banshee" I had some EPP foam and thought I'd do a scratch build in between the two sizes! so here is my "Voo-Doo" at 32" WS, Kf wing, 2000 kv motor, 6X4 prop, 2200 mAh 3S battery

UDI U12A R/C Camera Heli maiden flights 04-15-15.

Flights took place near my home near the intersection of Holman St. and Dearborn Ave. in Shelton WA. USA on the early-evening of 04-15-15 (or, "2015 15 Apr." or even, "April 15, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were fair, temperature of 55°F (12.8°C), and winds generally calm with gusts out of the ENE at 8mph (6.92kts, 12.88kph).

The asshat (***NOT*** 'assbonnet'!) in the white shirt is the pilot -- me of course. ;-)

Maiden drive & flight of my SY X25 R/C Flying Car 12-22-15

Drive/flight took place along the 1000-block of Ellinor Ave. in Shelton WA. USA on the afternoon of 12-22-15 (or, "2015 22 Dec." or even, "December 22, Twenty Stick-Bent-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were cloudy, temperature of 43°F (6.1°C), and winds reported as being from the ESE gusting to 3mph (2.595kts, 4.83kph).

As you can probably see, the camera is not properly oriented to capture driving video; future videos from this machine will be taken while flying only.

More info. about the SY X25 R/C Flying Car on my website in its eval. at http://ledmuseum.net/48/sy-x25.htm near New Year's Day 2016.

Maiden* flights of my Nebula Cruiser Quadcopter 01-08-16

Flights took place over a vacant lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Summit Dr. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 01-08-16 (or, "2016 08 Jan." or even, "January 08, Twenty Stick-Very-Twirly-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were low clouds, temperature of 39°F (3.9°C), and winds reported as being clam.

* Maiden with an asterisk here because the unit was originally given to me as a Christmas present in 2015; but I promptly destroyed it the very next day after it landed in the eastbound lane of Olympic Hwy. N. in Shelton WA. USA and was subsequently run over by at least several vehicles & ruined. This is the replacement one that I purchased myself.

More info. about the Nebula Cruiser Quadcopter on my website in its eval. at http://ledmuseum.net/49/nebula.htm probably by mid-January 2016.

Maiden flights of my Flybear FX-802 RTF R/C Aeroplane 03-05-16 (2)

Flights took place over the parking lot of the now-defunct Red Apple Grocery (currently a business known as Shelton Outfitters) near the intersection of Cascade Ave. and Olympic Hwy. N. in Shelton WA. USA on the morning of 03-05-16 (or, "2016 05 Mar." or even, "March 05, Twenty Stick-Very-Twirly-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were partly cloudy, temperature of 49°F (9.4°C), and winds reported as being from the SW gusting to 5mph (4.30kts, 8.04kph) but physical observations indicated that winds had gusts not exceeding 2mph (1.595kts, 4.83kph).

The gay little styrofoam aeroplane is significantly tail-heavy; giving it more than ~30% throttle causes it to tilt upwards and quickly stall. So I inserted a map pin into the nose cone and we'll see how it flies with this modification.

Maiden flight of my Quadrone Sparrow Quadcopter 01-19-17 (1)

Flight took place over the 1000-block of Ellinor Ave. in Shelton WA. USA at 8:41am PST on 01-19-17 (or, "2017 19 Jan." or even, "January 17, Twenty Stick-Busted-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were overcast with light rain, temperature was 43°F (6.1°C), and winds reported as being clam at the surface.

The music that you hear is zax from the Amiga computer demo, ""Software Make the Dance Foam Oil" by the Commodore Amiga demo group Ephidrena.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it pisses you off.

I fastened my LG cellular telephone handset to the radio in order to shoot this video; I attempted to keep the altitude in check so that the gay* little plastic drone would remain visible in the frame as much as possible -- it's just a tiny little thing so I had to keep it low and close by.

More info. about the Quadrone Sparrow Quadcopter on my website in its eval. at http://ledmuseum.net/50/sparrow.htm

* Gay = bright & lively, ***NOT*** homosexual! :-O

Maiden flight of my Syma X11C "Air-Cam" R/C Quadcopter with Camera & LED Lights 01-21-17 (1)

Flight took place over the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Mason St. in Shelton WA. USA at exactly 8:00am PST on 01-21-17 (or, "2017 21 Jan." or even, "January 21, Twenty Stick-Busted-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were moderately dense fog (visibility approx. 100 feet {~30.5 meters}; IFR for real pilots; VFR for low-altitude R/C pilots; increasing in visibility as the flight progressed), temperature was 35°F (1.7°C), and winds reported as being clam at the surface.

I look kinda piddled off in this video even though I'm really not; a serious brain operation that I had in late-2002 robbed me of my ability to smile. :(
I really ***DO*** love the living tweedle out of flying my drones!!! :)
The same operation also left me with a "googly eye" which is why I look a bit queer (pun not intended).

This drone ***DOES NOT*** make an excellent camera platform primarily because it is so nimble & responsive and does not have a gimbal -- the camera is hard-mounted into the drone's fuselage.

The music that you hear is the Hi-NRG song, "Set Me Free" by Abigail.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it pisses you off.

While I was flying it, I "heard" this fictional, phoney-bologna made-up song, sung to the tune of, "Row Row Row Your Boat", which went like this:

♫Fly fly fly my drone♫
♫Fly it near and far!♫
♫Merrily merrily merrily wish♫
♫Upon a magnetar!♫

Maiden flight of my FPVRC X5C R/C Quadcopter with Camera 03-08-17- 17 (1).

Flight took place over the 1000-block of Ellinor Ave.*in Shelton WA. USA at 1:29pm PST on 03-08-17 (or, "2017 08 Mar." or even, "March 08, Twenty Stick-Busted-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature was 39°F (3.9°C),* and winds reported as being clam at the surface.

There is no music because my mother is borrowing my laptop computer and this video was uploaded directly from my LG tablet computer.

Somewhat brief* maiden flight of my Syma X8C Venture R/C Camera Drone 04-07-17 (1).

Flight took place over a vacant lot along Summit St. (the lot is bordered by Ellinor Ave., Dearborn Ave., Summit St., and Olympic Hwy S.) in Shelton WA. USA at 7:20am PST on 04-07-17 (or, "2017 07 Apr." or even, "April 07, Twenty Stick-Busted-Stick" if you prefer).

Weather conditions at flight time were overcast, temperature was 45°F (7.2°C),* and winds reported as being clam at the surface.

The music that you hear are the songs, "Dj ATTaCK" by B-Shield, and "R2-D2 Lives in my Ass" by the Rochester NY comedy synth electro-punk group Worm Quartet.
This product is not audio (sound)-sensitive in any manner; the music may safely be ignored or even muted if it piddles you off.

While I was flying it, I "heard" this fictional, phoney-bologna made-up song, sung to the tune of, "Row Row Row Your Boat", which went like this:

♫ Fly fly fly my drone ♫
♫ Fly over the city! ♫
♫ Merrily merrily merrily merrily ♫
♫ I'm really not that pretty! ♫

* Somewhat brief because the flight battery requires several complete charge/discharge cycles before it achieves peak performance. :)
