Hello all,
Does anybody have or know of any good diy frame plans for an aerial photography platform?
My setup will be as follows:
Motors-G-Force G15
G-Force 30Amp ESC's
Naza Lite running v2 with GPS
HD19 Camera
FPV Transmitter
4400mah battery
13 or 14 inch propellers

Cheers,
Malik

I am planning on building one using the electro hub combined with the camera mounting kit from flite test store. Im thinking of doing the spider configuration as it puts the front arms out wider and allows them to not be in the frame of the video.

Using the electro hub gives you many configuration choices as in hexacoptor and octocoptor if you want to use more motors in case of a motor failure, which in theory you would still be able to land the craft and save your camera gear from damage even after loosing a motor.

Those motors will be WAY overkill for most AP setups unless you plane on carrying Sony NEX camera and gimbal. My AP setup has a GoPro with gimbal and uses motors quite a bit smaller than those. I really like the s500 frame because of the rail mounts, power distribution, and angled motors. It will only fit 12 inch props, but there are plenty of good setups that run 12 inch props.
