After crashing my baby blender several times, I have made some mods that make the little guy a total beast. It's indestructible.
1. Tail is adapted from an Explorer. The stock tail looked cooler, but was quite fragile on rough runways
2. Solid wing connectors
3. Plastic-sponge wheels (store bought), with 4mm solid wire for landing gear, and shaft collars (aka wheel stoppers). The foam core wheels worked, but not for long.
4. Reinforcement foam panels on the inside for the wing barbeque skewers.
5. Power Pod: popsicle stick reinforcement for battery strap.
