I was screwing around with the Google Earth flight simulator last night and decided using a mouse and keyboard wasn't doing it for me. I didn't want to go through the hassle of downloading software to decode inputs for a real transmitter, but I have Playstation Dualshock 4 controllers lying around so why not use one of those? It took some hacking around but I got it working and posted the code and instructions on my Github. I think it's super simple to use, and all the instructions are in the link above!
The controls are set up Mode 2, with aileron/elevator on the right joystick and rudder on the left. I moved throttle controls to the bumpers L1 and R1 to avoid having a self-centering throttle stick. Flaps up/down are controlled with the Triangle and X buttons.
Feel free to try it out! And let me know if you run into any errors, this is my first time experimenting with this.
