Makes sense to me, seems most of what FT is about is Electric and I am sure they had a good reason for making it that way. insurance, space, logistics or something.

Also I believe it is also a working farm. Electric is probably best. Also there are homes not that far away. Google Map an Earth View it, we are not that far away from some residential neighborhoods. If we want to be able to do it NEXT year we have to make a good impression THIS year.

Oh to that end, all you FPV'ers (me included) Think before you fly, Plan your flight before you lift off. And for heavens sake Stay AWAY from the houses... We have a chance to improve our reputation with this event, lets make sure we do.

They aren't prepared to coordinate nitro/gas vs electric for the first go-round. 2nd annual may very well see a change, if I were to guess.
