Low Pass Filter

Hey all,
Building my FPV plane, i want to use 1.2ghz video and for now, 2.4ghz FrSky. Later ill use 433mhz. I dont plan to go more than a kilometer for now. I understand I need a "low pass filter" on my VTX for good 2.4ghz results. my question is, which system interferes with the other? Which system suffers? Both? or just the 2.4ghz system? Thanks!

LB,

The receiver(control) on your airframe is blinded by the transmitter(video) on your airframe.

your control might still be OK when the airframe in your hand, but as it flies farther away, the first harmonic spur of the video transmitter will drown out the fading control signal. you should se dramatically shortened range, depending on how strong your TX's are (compared to each other) and how clean the video TX is -- the cleaner the better, which is why a low pass filter works!
