Hello,

I was just curious if anyone has flown/owned the hangar 9 meridian by horizon hobby. I was looking at possible first gas airplanes because i might try one later on this year and i saw this one. Is this a good plane for transitioning from electric to gas?

If that's the size plane you want, I'd go with the Great Planes Big Stik 60 with something like the NGH 17cc gas engine or DLE/rcg 20cc etc. The key here is that this is a cowl-less design and you'll be doing a lot of adjusting on the carb.
