Hi,

I´m about to maiden my first built the FT Spitfire, need your help ...on which prop to use:

2200 motor
30 amp ESC
Props
8 x 4 and 5 x 4

The 5x4 probably won't stick out much wider than the nose. Between the two props, 8" is far more appropriate for the airframe . . .

. . . but . . . "2200 motor" unfortunately tells us nothing more than that it's a motor.

I can assume you mean 2200kv, but that only tells us how fast it spins (it's an easy guess to say probably 5 and not 8, because 8" on a 2200kV motor would need to be a beefy motor). While 8" is better for the airframe, it would probably be bad for the motor -- There's more than a good chance that motor isn't well suited for the FT Spitfire.

I appreciate the help Crafty Dan, the motor is a turnigy D2826/6 2200kv the prop reads 0804E
