reverse shafts?

the "reverse shaft" it refers to is a bolt on shaft that attaches to the motor bell (you might have already gathered that, but it's not obvious how short shaft motors work). the "reverse" will have left handed threads, so the motor won't unscrew the prop adapter . . .

but . . .

most prop adapters, if you tighten it down don't come loose in flight. you'll have to regularly tighten it, but you should be checking that pretty much every day you fly.

Yes as Dan says, check at the beginning of the day's flying session at least.

Just a quick pinch of the bell while giving a gentle, but firm attempt to spin the prop with the other hand. Just be careful when checking the aft prop on a tri so you don't strip the servo or wrench the linkage.
