An ABRUPT end to the new flight test of my EDF Lidl foamie rc conversion. What was the problem?

My Lidl cheap foamie glider RC build no7 from a couple of years ago, my 1st EDF version, had an update, namely a thrust tube for the EDF. Did it make any difference to performance that is the question? AND another lesson learned in this great hobby that never stops giving!
