Hi, I know what aspect ratio is and what a higher aspect ratio looks like to a low aspect ratio. All high performance planes seem to have high aspect ratios. It gives gliders a better lift/drag ratio as it does pylon racers. Why do some models have low aspect ratios. From my experiance low aspect ratios induce bad stall charachteristics and wing rock. So if someone could explain the pros and cons to higher and lower aspect ratios, it would be appreciated.
