Camera cable interfering with GPS acquiring

I have the Immersionrc ezosd and the new fatshark pilot hd installed on my wing. The gps is having troubles getting the satellites. When I disconnect the camera is acquires in 15sec. When I route the video cable well away from the gps it takes a long time or not at all.

It seems to be the camera cable that is causing the issue, how can I solve this? Some sort of filter? Aluminum foil?? Ferro ring??

Have you tried to isolate it further? Like try it with just the fatshark without the OSD?

A shield for the cable can help in most cases. If that doesn't work, maybe a fancy foil hat?

Try shielded CAT5 if you can get some that's reasonably priced. Using the twisted pair along with a shield should help.

Connect the drain wire, on one end only, to any handy ground. Shield doesn't need connection to anything, as it's passive.

Or wrap the video cable a few times around a ferrite ring?

Alternately, you can twist all the wires to achieve a similar result... Or do both!
