Over here in the UK we (ie multirotor pilots) often refer to RC planes as "planks".
So here is a challenge for Peter/Alex/Josh etc....make a flying plank. I'm thinking a length of 2 by 4, build a foam aerofoil around it, see what happens...a true "flying plank". I imagine the weight of the wood could prove challenging so it'd be interesting to see what length of wing/lift would overcome the weight.
I apologise if this has been suggested/done before...I did use the search facility on the forum first...promise!
