EDF WING.jpg

I was just gifted the wing pictured above. It came with a transmitter, receiver and LiPo battery, and charger. The LiPo may or may not be viable. I haven't had a chance to test it yet. It certainly looks nice. The Xmitter is aa powered and the the batteries in it were burst. I'm not holding my breath on salvaging the radio. Still, quite a nice surprise.

I have been gifted some much older radios with batteries and been able to revive them, so there is a chance for yours. Next question is, "Why bother?" If you've got modern radios it may be worth throwing an a modern rx and flying with those.

If it works, it works. If not, I have replacements, as you stated. I was just surprised by the gift. The PO said they had no use for it and didn't know anyone who wanted it. They are "in laws" of my daughter and she snagged it before they sent it to the dump. From a little research, it was about $200.00 retail for the RTF kit when they were in production. I am assuming the radio is already set up for a wing configuration, so it would be nice if it all works.
