I can't speak for Flite Fest but I've been to Joe Nall four times. There is no overt religious overtones at the event, and I'm more sensitive to it than most. The only "fellowship" that I've ever witnessed is complete strangers wanting to talk to each other about flying.
Balu - Yeah it's kind of like trying to define "Gemütlichkeit" to an American. lol!
Language is a funny thing. It is very much linked to our culture as well as our varied sub-cultures (religious, military, RC etc etc)
Glad to see we can discuss and explain things in a friendly manner. What a great group! See you at Flite Fest 2015!
