For extra excitement, you should try it inverted, but not with the FT bronco in T tail configuration. Or anything that has a V tail. Crosswind is harder, behind you towards the slope means you can loop into the next pass or have tons of speed.
My famous comment: add a couple clicks down trim, it will be way more responsive and stable, once you get accustomed to the weirdness. Most everybody new flies slope much too slow.
