Glue Extreme Packing Tape

I would like to glue some gift cards, velcro and probably other things on top of the extreme packing tape I used in my builds. Any one know what glue would work best? I normally use Gorilla Hot Glue Sticks to build my FT planes.

Regular hot glue always works fine for me. I scuff up the tape where I'm wanting to put the glue tho. Give the glue something to hold on to.

Agree - hot glue does the job. One thing I noticed recently however is that gorilla glue (original formula) doesn't grip the extreme packing tape as well as I thought. The suggestion by @kdobson83 might help.
