Help! EDF calculation dilemma

I'm new to the whole RC world with a pretty crazy project. I am looking to power a pine wood derby car with a 12-blade 50mm EDF (or something of the sort). I have done the preliminary research about different types of motors and such. I have decided that as a non-negotiable, I need a brushed motor. My dilemma lies in knowing what motor to get. I've been looking at 11t, 12t, and 13t motors, but I am not sure if there is a point where too many RPMs is a bad thing. Especially with a 50mm fan I can't imagine that I will need a lot of torque. Also I would like to keep the motor weight under 2oz, well under 2oz if possible. So my questions are, how do I determine the best torque to speed ratio for the fan? Where (if anywhere) can I source a (brushed) motor based on torque and speed? And how do I find the lightest motor possible.

Thanks for any pointers or help!

Why brushed?
