I tried the free test version. My computer would not run it with a decent frame rate.

yeh...my 5 year old PC won't do it, but I'm building another PC right now that should have no problems.

I got wings and it works fine on my computer. I find some of the physics to be a bit off, but well enough for mussle memory practice (like bumping something with a wing tip and some now not getting put into an agressive yaw/ spin - just some shakes)

I haven’t. I have RealFlight but haven’t used it in months.

did you check settings to see if there is a realism option that can be adjusted?

There is not a 'realism' option to be adjusted.
It isn't way off and to do a really good simulation would require some very complicated formulas and computations.
