I need an idea on what to build for the indoor season...

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out what to build for an indoor plan with the electronics from my retired 50% Spitfire. (To fat to fly indoors and to small to fly outside, 100gr AUW)
I have three micro servos, and orange micro Rx, Turnigy 1811-2900KV 2S motor with a 6 amp ESC. I need something large and light enough to fly in a basketball court sized gymnasium. (it's a bit bigger but not by much.) I can fly my Wltoys F949 there. The goal is to get below 150gr and with plenty lift to fly slow ...

I could scale down a FT design but I need a slowish plane to cope with the small space..
Any ideas?

My short-lived mini speedster was surprisingly good at low speeds, lots of control authority too... could work for ya!

Also not sure if you're in to quads/fpv, but this is keeping me happy through Winter here: http://teambigwhoop.com/tiny-whoop/

I've been planning a micro version of my PBY Catalina for use with 3mm hobbyking or depron foam. You'd need a second motor, but it would work with 3 servos.

Not really sure on final weight, but it would probably be less than my estimate. Should fly in a gym sized area with no problems.

You're an evil man! Making me buy even more electronics! I have to really think that one over...

cool plans.

how did you make these plans up? do you work with flite test? and do you have a build video for this plane?
