J3 Cub reciever

I am building the J3 cub and was wondering which receiver to use. Thank you in advance

What transmitter do you have?

I was going to purchase a 4-channel spektrum, would that be enough?

That would probably be fine for a 3-4 channel plane. A receiver like this right? 4ch spektrum receiver and that will work with the spektrum transmitters only. Just get the same brand receiver as your transmitter.
