For my first scratch build i took an old control line plan from aerofred and built a 27.6inch span north American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco out of foamboard.
Step 1 was to download and print the plan using Adobe and the poster setting on the print page. Then tape the pieces together.
Then I built the fuselage
Step 3, making the booms and tailplane
Then I started on the wing
Fitting quality hinges on all control surfaces
Looking like a bronco
Time for some electronics
Boom alignment and glue
Cable's routed and fuselage glued in position
Cowlings, props and spinners added
Control surfaces fitted then canopy from a fabric conditioner bottle, automotive paint and Google decals applied
