motor burn up

hello everyone i just want your opinion on my power set up. I have a 50 amp esc and a 1100kv aeorodrive with a 2200 may 3 s 30 cell with a 8x6 sport propeller. Do you think that my esc or a motor burn up. I just want your opinion.

It sounds like you have the right setup except the ESC is overkill. For that motor and prop you should probably use something around 20-25 amp, but the 50 amp esc wont burn out the motor. If you already bought it the only problem is that it might weigh too much for your aircraft.

I would guess that you would want more along the lines of a 9x5 to 10x7 prop for that setup. There are a few different 1100kv motors. If you don't have a watt meter, id suggest getting one.generally a safe bet is 100watts per ounce of motor weight.

Either way, with an 8x6.prop, i doubt it would even get warm, let alone burn up.

not enough data to compute. Hobbyking brands most/all of their turnigy motors "aerodrive", and they have 1100 KV motors with that name ranging from this 12A /170w parkflyer motor:
