This thread is where I plan to deposit my 3D printing escapades
I have lots to catch up on.

I have an Anet A8 - is doesn't print right

For my birthday it was time. I picked up the Ender 3 Pro custo. With the silent stepper upgrade. The auto level would have taken an extra month and not been birthday qualifying. No autolevel.

It went together in and hour. Printing in another 30 min.

Nice! I picked up my ender 3 pro about two months ago. It’s been printing non stop. Only mod was the same glass bed I think you are using. Enjoy!

I’m printing the GASB 2 currently from the free download on Thingiverse. Hoping it will fly well. If not the crash should be spectacular. 😀

Tiny stringing issue. Nothing to write home about.

Now to functional prints. Tensioners for the Anet A8.

On the best day the A8 net printed pretty good. But unlikely able to print this without the need for sanding.


Now for retracts and a bomb drop mechanism.

I am doing this FOR the S3! The retractable, stearable nose gear specifically. I am So excited to be even closer.

I printed a retract. I think I need to print it at 150-200% to fit the 1/8 gear wire.

8 pool noodle hubs done, and an fpv tiny tank printing safety whistles with some of the last of the red filament

Share the STLs for the retracts?

Those retracts are ones I found on thingyverse.
I think I printed them long ago, but the Anet wasn't up to the detail.

100% (2.5hr) and 200% (5hr).
The 100% fits landscaping wire, and 200% fits 1/8" wire.

I've been busy lately printing other things
hubs needle foam cutter replacement for mobula7 HD part broken during crash.
The original part is on the left of the bottom pic.

Poking fun I know.
Most of this is for the planes... The ERC is the foam cutter... Quicker prototyping. And the retracts are for the two/three big planes I have at the throw-it-in-the-air stage...
Then this:

For the next build: FT Spitfire.

I hope to move to a 3D printed plane or some hybrid. It is Very tough to be the strength to weight ratio and ease of use of DTFB.
