I came across this yesterday researching something else. Really very cool.

Pay attention to the high pressure (red) caused by the props passing over the airframe. The swirling (gray) turbulent air is quite cool too.

There is really so much going on that you have to watch it a few times. Very fascinating.

FEA = Finite Element Analysis = Above my pay grade

First you model something in a CAD program like SolidWorks or CATIA, define the material & its properties & then apply stresses, etc. It's a way to do destructive, etc testing without ever even building a prototype. High level shizz.
