I joined for several reasons. First of all I was really scammed buy a guy in Grand Junction Colorado. I had saved for a while and was interested in building a big RC Aeronca 7 AC Champ. I have a 1/4 scale. I built AA Industries really a challenge. But I got thru it. I wanted a larger version. And Rcaiir offered a 1/3rd Kit. I ordered it over a year ago. Turned out to be a scam. I am still motivated and want to do this. I lost a lot of money. And learned a lesson. Happy to be on board. I live in north Texas. We have had a record breaking summer temps. And the farmers say we are in for a cold winter! Wel see. AJ.

Just as a warning this guys name is Don Carlson that scammed me. He talks a big talk about being a great modeler. But it's all a scam. All I could find out was he was a roofing contractor. Many warned about him starting jobs and never finishing it. What a mistake I made. AJ.

We have scammers on all model websites in Russia all the time. Basically, they offer for sale very cheap equipment: engines, batteries and so on.. All modelers who have laser equipment for cutting model blanks have long been known to everyone from their publications. Recently, due to flight bans, many modelers have stopped appearing on websites. This is used by scammers-they just hack into an account and sell a fake on behalf of a decent modeler. I'd rather buy on aliexpress than cheap from a scammer.Although in the summer I bought from a well-known aircraft modeler cheap 2 sets of long-range modules with receivers and 2 Arducopter 2.8 + 2 Arducopter given as a gift together GPS N8M. Life teaches us lessons from which we gain experience.

Hey guys I am still beating the bushes for a scale windshield for my AA Industries 1/4th scale Champ I had a set back and I am repairing lots of damage after a landing accident and mid air on short final. Almost made it but not quite. Rebuild my left wing and fuselage damage. So why not beat the bushes for a scale windshield. Hated the windshield I made for it never looked right! If you all come across one please let me know. I would buy three if I could find them.AJ

I'm in Colorado. Want me to do a hit on him? ☠️ 😄 My Tutor is good at kamikaze runs into the head -ask me how I know. 😱
I assume you actually took appropriate legal action?

(No, FBI, CIA, NSA, KGB, ETC... I don't do "hits" for hire. Keep your shorts on. 🤪 I only work for Mossad 🇮🇱, and only occasionally now. 😉)

Hey Mossed your post made me laugh. I worked a year for Air America. Oh US Park service! Sorry department of the interior. I did contact a lawyer but jumping borders is expensive to get him served. I asked for my money back. What a joke. Just don't deal with this guy. I wanted the guys to know and I was warned about him. Did see Nother post about a guy that received a 1/3rd scale J -3; cub from him. He told me he did not do a Cub. What's that about. Hey you guys been warned.AJ

I will never play in a casino : This is for stupid people who believe in the honesty of the game. All games are programs created by people + psychologists : they give you a little bit to win, so that you can clean it up to zero. Gambling addicts are sick people. I do not know any modeler who loves casinos. Advertising a casino on a family website is immoral. This is my personal opinion. I have never seen such advertisements on model websites in Russia.

When I flew as a PFE we landed in Vagas several times, pax Nd Cargo. Never gambled, but I would buy dollar silver coins. Usually 10 at a time. Still have them. I did play the quarter machines just to pass the time. Once I walked out with fourty dollars bought some silver dollars. Today I think you play with tokens. And dollar bills. A lot has chained sense the 90s anyway back to Champin. Still reworking my AA Industries wing repairs, lots of improvements. And fuselage repairs, had to completely remove all my fabric, to complete my inspection. My full size Champ is not flying. And planning on doing the spar AD that three final came out in 2014. Original was 1998. AD I covered my wings in 1984. So I held off until the Fed did their final phase. Still wanting to get a windshield for my AA Industries 7 AC Champ. Been trying to find a pro builder to manufacture one! AJ

I've been doing lots of reading on other web sites mostly about Champs. All about the short falls and flying. I've only owned one electric. It was a Champ. 15E maybe 60 inch wing. Got to fly it several times and crashed almost every time I flew it. Stuff broke on flight several times struts and wing attach points. Lots of issues with this ARF. But all we're repairable. Never liked wind of any kind. Getting use to electrics was a challenge. But we adapt adjust and we over come. Still working on my 1/4 th scale AA industries its nitro and I like it much better than electric. Had an incident with it, and ended up repairing a lot of busted glue joints and repairing my OS 120 surpass two. Lucky for me the 160 crossed reference several parts to the 120.AJ

Well coins are another habit of mine a novice collection now that it cost 3 cents to make a one cent coin. Kinda wonder. He cost to make a silver dollar. All I see are very expensive and the banks never get them anymore. Well back to Champin, getting my wings back together. And my next step will be to drill the wing pins for the center section. Seen a video of a Nolsen AA Industries 1/4 scale 7 AC Champ loose its left wing. Totally destroyed the plane ouch! But the wings were just plugged. In with Dowel pins and Secured. With the wing struts. Crazy. That was a big heads up so I bought aluminum tubes and will pin the left and right wing. After you spend Years building a Champ you kinda want it to last. Any way you learn from others mistakes. I really enjoy building ND I am not that great of a flyer. I do have a private pilot license AJ
