New to RC in Illinois.

Hey all, I’ve lurked around here a bit, time for an intro. I’ve been into flight for as long as I can remember, playing sims since MSF 3 and Corncob 3d. I always wanted to fly RC planes, but cost and complexity kept me out of it.
At the beginning of quarantine a friend sent me a few of the FT YouTube videos. Well, y’all are already here, so I’m sure you’re familiar with the “oh, that’s way easier than balsa wood” moment.
While I was laid off I scratch built a Baby Blender and bought and built a speed build Simple Cub. I also started a scratch built Mini Mustang.

Very nicely done FT and foamboard has gotten a lot of people into the addiction. Always lots to learn it never ends.
