Newbie question

Like I said, I am a newbie to building a quadcopter and have a question about connectors. Is it nessesary to use the gold connectors or would other bullet connectors work?

I assume you mean for the motors? But anyway. Soldering makes the best connection. Bullets are convenient. Gold plated is best and will last the longest and give the least trouble. Other types are more prone to corrosion and don't make as reliable contact but they will work.
