Had a fun little solo trip to 3D Farm in Iron City GA. Rusty, the property owner (the guy throwing the wing) owns the property and very generously allows us to fly on his field. Even to stay overnight, as I did this trip. I built out this trailer to give me more storage as well as a place to sleep with air conditioning. As you can see, it fits plenty of planes. It also has a workbench and of course, a little fold down bed.
I lucked out with some great weather, if still a bit warm during the day. The night was cool, but not cold enough to run off all the bugs. The gnats are still persistent during the day, and mosquitos while not thick, were enough to drive us indoors after it got dark. I did still get some night flights in though.
Other than the hour or two that Rusty joined me in the evening, I had the entire place to myself. Which once in a while is just what I need.
