Hello, I am new to the RC plane world. I currently bought a Horizon Super Cub which I love for indoor flying. I am interested in scratch building a plane. The problem is I have no idea what size motor battery and servos I should choose for my project. I was curious if you guys could do an episode on how to make the correct choices for this. I have tried to figure things out by web surfing for an EDF motor which is what I would need for the type of aircraft I want to build.
Scratch Building and choosing the electronic package for it.

Hey Ophial and welcome to the forum!
I think the Flite Test beginner series may be just what your looking for. They don't really talk about EDF's but watching those will give you a lot of good useful information. Also episode 6 is just on power systems.
