The biggest challenge of this hobby... waiting for replacement parts

I've been in the hobby for a whole month now and I'm having a great time. I bought a toy-grade quad copter to learn how to fly before I build my own. I've also built an FT Tiny Trainer.

I've flown my quad for a few hours total and now a motor is slowly dying. I've ordered replacements motors, extra batteries and a few other parts and accessories.

I've broken both props for my Tiny Trainer (Power Pack A). I've ordered a bunch more props and some prop savers.
- Flight 1: had my elevator reversed :(
- Flight 2: flew about three seconds, then it listed hard to the left and crashed out (I'm assuming a left/right CG and/or trim issue)

So, now I sit, staring at the walls of my garage twiddling my thumbs and waiting for the mailman. I don't know what I'm going to do to pass the time in the cold/windy months when I can't go outside and crash stuff.

Amen Brother!!!!

It does get better . . . not because you can tolerate the wait better, but because you have other things to fly while you wait for . . . whatever.

Hang tight. Mailman's coming!
