Im looking to work up to building a largeish foam vulcan using the techniques from the flite test builds. I plan on using drawings for a balsa model and editing them to work for foam and EDF. Because im new to foam building im looking to start small by making an Avro 707 which was the test bed for the Avro Vulcan. this will help me learn about building and painting before moving on to a vulcan.
I was wondering if anyone else has made a vulcan from foam and what tips you would have for me. I wanted to make it like a balsa kit with ribs and all with the foam skin much like the FT builds. Im not sure if this is a good choice or not as its new to me so let me know what you think and if you have had any experience in big delta builds?
