I Have only seen a few of these getting around, mostly the SR-72 version from Lockheed Martin. (Although Lockheed Martin did design Darkstar for the film)
I like the prop in slot/parkjet approach to jets and this made this build fairly easy.
Used a basic power setup, 2216 2200kv running 5x5. 3S power. This thing is very slippery in the air!
It rolls extremely fast, and first flight I didn't give it enough pitch authority
Was hoping to get some video but stripped a servo trying to fix it.
Long story short, couldn't pull up after a dive and bent the nose up! Easy fix though!
Also going to replace the verticals to look more scale!
