Video flickering/no solid video

Hi there,

I have a problem with 2 tiny cams for my tiny whoop. The video is failing and its drops out most of the time.

Setup 1
Cam: https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TX...-VTX-600TVL-13-Cmos-FPV-Camera-p-1104884.html
Receiver: https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-FPV-5_8G-32CH-Wireless-AV-Receiver-RC832-p-975426.html?
Result:

Setup 2
Cam: https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TX...TX-600TVL-NTSC-Mini-FPV-Camera-p-1181013.html
Receiver: https://www.banggood.com/Aomway-RX0...r-With-Built-In-Video-Recorder-p-1163394.html
Result:

I also switch both cams and receivers but with the same result.

And in both cases I did try to change the band and channels, and change the mW on the cams. But still no solid video.

Anybody know what this can be?

ps, on my 250 quad i have a tramp hv v2 and in that case both receivers works great!

If they work good with your Tramp, then I’d say it could be some intermittent connection between the cam and VTX or a faulty VTX all together. If you can still return them, I’d definitely do so!

Antigravity or bust...
Just a thought, 5.8 systems can receive interference if they are close enough to other 5.8 GHz radio like wifi routers or mobile hotspots. Hope you figure it out...

I had the exact same issue with the same vRX and monitor as the first setup you did. I also tried different vTXs with the same result. Unfortunately, I never found the true solution and the monitor has suffered an increasing amount of dead pixels that make it unusable. What I could determine is that it probably has something to do with the video input into the monitor. Whenever it flickers you can see the AV1 in the top right disappear and then reappear. I suspect the monitor is switching out of AV1, maybe to AV2, and then back to AV1. I'm not sure what causes the switching, maybe some stray signal that AV2 picks up. I also noticed that switching my camera from PAL to NTSC stopped the problem momentarily, but it always came back. Hope you figure it out!

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies! I found the issue, and its a little bit silly...

I connect both AV1 and AV2 to the monitor, what cause the flip between AV1 and AV2 (the 250 quad seems to have no issue with this "double" connection).
Disconnecting the AV2 and all start to work solid :)
