It's an old county landfill. EPA regulations strongly restrict how the land can be used. One of the few approved activities is RC airfield.

So, yeah, an FTCA field, and eventual FRIA when the FAA figures out what those will be.

They didn't mention anything about that in the preliminary inquiry. I think it would be treated like any county park.

We'll find out more next week.

It is two miles closer and my ama site is 13 miles closer.
It would be great to have a three sites under an hour away.
