It was tabled today.

The county attorney wants to see how the neighboring county is handling their landfill rc field.

Yeah.... the answer is they are not. Hopefully that makes things easier, not harder.

The next county over has a similar setup. Old landfill, RC airfield, no AMA association.

Good news.

Went to another county commissioners meeting, and the field was "approved" tonight. They want to figure out some details, but it was voted on and approved.

Hopefully we can claim an FTCA field here in Florida soon.

I sure hope you do! Just hopefully you won't require them to be a member of the FTCA. I HATE IT when clubs require AMA memberships.

😏..... Maybe.... But they will preferably have to be fart of SAMAA. South African model aircraft association.
For insurance, purposes.
And also... Just safer in general... So that if something happens samaa pays out
