Connecting battery to speed controller?

Hi,

I have a bunch of XT60 connects and some 2 mm gold connectors.

Here's my battery:

My speed controller (Turnigy 18A) has nothing... just bare wire ends.

How am I supposed to connect it to the battery? Just push them inside the red battery connector? How will they stay in?

Either put a JST connector on your ESC. Or better yet solder a XT60s onto the battery and the ESC. Just make sure you put the correct one on the battery to prevent short circuits.

Hey Genjix,

The red connector on your battery is commonly called a JST male connector. You'll need a matching female connector on a pig-tail to solder onto your ESC (watch your polarity and don't forget the heat-shrink tube).
